Moye Fulfills Promise, Donates 50 Bags of Cements for Jarmue Town Hall Project
Jarmue, Bong County July 30,2026 – Bong County Senator Prince Kermue Moye Sr. has fulfilled another commitment to the people of Bong County by donating 50 bags of cement and US$1,000 to residents of Jarmue Town in Electoral District #1 to support the completion and furnishing of the community’s town hall.
The donation comes after Senator Moye pledged his support during a recent visit to Jarmue as part of his ongoing county-wide citizens’ engagement tour, where he has been engaging with residents to discuss their developmental needs and priorities.
Presenting the donation on the senator’s behalf, Special Assistant Abell R. Okai said the gesture reflects Senator Moye’s continued commitment to community development and human capacity building across Bong County and other parts of Liberia. He encouraged the leadership and residents of Jarmue to ensure that both the cash and cement are used for their intended purpose—the completion of the town hall.
Okai also reaffirmed Senator Moye’s dedication to supporting initiatives that improve the living conditions of rural communities and promote sustainable development throughout the county.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the community were Chairlady Alice G. Flomo, Pastor James Y. Flomo, Hawa Momo, and Town Chief Aaron Quayee.
Speaking on behalf of the town, the community leaders thanked Senator Moye for honoring his promise, describing the donation as a clear demonstration of responsible and accountable leadership.
They noted that many commitments made to the community by previous leaders had never been fulfilled but praised Senator Moye for turning his promise into action. The leaders also prayed for God’s continued guidance, protection, and strength as he continues to champion development initiatives aimed at improving the lives of ordinary citizens across Bong County.
