Pipeline Road-: The Female Journalists Association of Liberia (FeJAL ) Vice President madam Oretha Bundoo Seh is urging parents to pay keen attention to their children in school and at home.

According to madam Seh, most parents rely on the teachers and school administrators heavily for the wellbeing and perfect performance of their kids without applying due efforts in the process.

Serving as Keynote Speaker for the Word of Life International School System 3rd Graduation Convocation the Vice President attributed the poor performance of some students to the level of care received at home.

“Parents learn to check on your children. Pay attention to them. When they come from school check them up, make sure they are taking their lessons seriously” madam Seh said.

She further urged parents to treat their kids with love and respect. According to the keynote speaker, children are precious gifts, as such, parents and guardians should appreciate them.
“Treat all your children equally. Make them feel the same, don’t prioritise one over the others”

However, addressing the graduates, the leader cautioned them to put God first, be honest and obey their parents.

“To achieve your potential or dream as a child make sure to have respect and be obedient to your parents. Be honest in all you do. Never take things that don’t belong to you. Learned to be appreciative or pleased with the little you will have” she said.

At the same time Mr. Edwin F. Kollie, Principal of the Word of Life International School System appreciated parents for entrusting them with their kids. He congratulated the graduates for level of work done.

Word of Life International School System is a full scale high school on the Pipeline Road. The school graduated 38 students from both Kindergarten and Elementary Divisions. The ceremony took place on July 14,2024 in the school’s premises.
