Deputy Health Minister Ends Day-long Meeting With Phebe Hospital’s Staff With call to Improve Health Care Deliveries.

UAKOKO, BONG COUNTY: A Day-long strategic departmental meeting with heads of various departments at Phebe Hospital convened by Madam Martha Morris, Liberia’s Deputy Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Health has ended with call to improve health care deliveries.

The meeting was aimed at strengthening collaboration, improving healthcare deliveries, and addressing challenges faced by the hospital.

During the engagement, Deputy Minister Morris emphasized the importance of improving and exploring key opportunities for the hospital’s growth and development, focusing on teamwork, accountability, and efficient resource utilization in providing quality healthcare services to the community.

The meeting also provided a platform for department heads to share their experiences, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing the hospital’s operations, infrastructure development, and improved staff salaries, among others.

Many department heads who attended the day-long engagement lauded Madam Morris’ visit and further described it as a demonstration of the Health Ministry’s commitment to supporting healthcare initiatives in Bong County and ensuring that Phebe Hospital continues to provide essential services to the community.

The outcome of the meeting is expected to inform future planning and decision-making processes. The Ministry of Health looks forward to implementing the recommendations and strategies developed during the meeting, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes for the people of Bong County
