In Grand Gedeh County, Six Men Allegedly Gang Raped Two Sisters

Zwedru, Grand Gedeh: Six men in Grand Gedeh County have allegedly raped two sisters, 15 and 16-year-old.
Reported by a local media, Verity News, the victims left their new Georgia resident in Zwedru City late Sunday evening at about 11:00 P.M. to buy apples, while on their way back home the unfortunate incident occurred.
The victims further narrated that they got intercepted by six men with two motorbikes along the way to their resident, “So when we got on the motorbike to carry us home, two motorbikes with six guys were chasing us until we entered Map office community, the motorcyclists who was carrying us later got after and put us down along the road,” they stated.
They added: “We managed to hide ourselves in the banana bush but they still saw us and when my sister and myself were shouting for helps, they picked up knives and threatened to kill us.”
One of the victims told local reporters in Zwedru City that she knows one of the men that gang raped them. She said “I know one of them, his name is ‘two days’ soup,’
They, amongst other things stated that the perpetrators placed them on their motorbikes and took them behind the Franzy high way behind Blessing Hill community.
“They put us on the motorbikes and carried us to Franzy high way behind Blessing Hill community and I sure the time was around 3:am and have sex with two of us one by one.”
The victims intimated that they were raped by the perpetrators one after another; and threatened to kill them if they speak out.
“They raped us one by one. While they were raping us, one person had knives and threatened to kill us if we speak out. We were later dashed along the roadside,” they noted.
The victims narrated that they later managed to make their ways to the chairlady of blessing hill resident seeking for rescue where they both stayed until day. The case had been forwarded to the Liberia National Police women and children division for proper investigation.
The alleged perpetrators are currently in the run while the women and children division has sent the victims to seek medications. The incident took on September 8,2025
