Monrovia: The Grand Jury of Montserrado County has indicted Bill Jallah for the alleged murder of Princess Zuo Wesseh.

According to the indictment, Jallah is charged with Murder, Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, and Aggravated Assault. Authorities say he fatally stabbed Princess Wesseh with a knife on December 21, 2024, in the Duport Road area.

Investigators say the knife used in the attack was found at the scene and Jallah admitted the act during questioning. The indictment states he acted with malice and intent, hiding the weapon under his clothes before confronting the victim.

Earlier that day, Jallah reportedly visited the victim’s workplace twice and disturbed her, prompting her to alert his father, William Jallah. The case was scheduled for hearing on Thursday, May 15, 2025, but defense lawyers requested continuance to review case files.

Bill Jallah, 38, was forwarded to Court on Friday, December 27, 2024, for alleged crimes including murder, criminal attempt to commit murder, and aggravated assault.

Defendant Jallah was investigated and charged by the Liberia National Police for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend, Princess Zuo, to death in the Duport Road community. The incident involved a knife wound to her upper left chest.

The police have accused Jallah of murder, criminal attempt to commit murder, and aggravated assault. Police investigation revealed that days before the horrific incident, Jallah caused significant embarrassment for Zuo at her workplace.

Reports indicate that Zuo had informed Jallah’s father and sisters about his actions at her job. This prompted his sister, Kormassa Jallah, to rush to the scene, where she met her brother.

According to the Liberia National Police investigation, Zuo requested a discussion with Jallah at an entertainment center known as Fast Nikel, near Kool FM Radio Station, Joe Bar, Paynesville, between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. The discussion was about Jallah’s behavior, as reported to his father by Zuo.

While at the center, Jallah started an argument with Zuo about her going out with friends on the night of Friday, December 20, 2024, without informing him and not answering his calls. Jallah’s aggressive behavior provoked Zuo, who then grabbed her bag and began walking toward Duport Road Junction in Paynesville.

As Kormassa Jallah tried to reach Zuo, Jallah followed and blocked her. When she resisted, he allegedly stabbed her several times in the chest. Zuo was rushed to ELWA Hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The police described Jallah’s actions as intentional and willful, noting that he went to meet Zuo armed with a knife. Jallah, however, denied using a knife, claiming he used roasted fish and meat sticks bought while sitting with Zuo and his sister at the bar.
